![]() It is a wonder but the fact remains that Cave sights are the most intriguing of all. The artistic chipping of rocks that eventually give way to gigantic caves and immaculate designs and sculptors that caves in general are adorned with has always remained a source of fancy for all. The tour package 'Caves and Beaches' similarly relates us to the marvelous caves of India that are world heritage sites. These caves incise a narrow letter-box like opening and once in they carve downward to make complex formations. During this tour, the Cave visit starts with Bhimbetka caves that comprises of 500 caves that depict in panoramic detail the life of the pre-historic man. This is followed with the Elephant Caves of Mumbai, the Ajanta and Ellora Caves near Aurangabad and the Arvalem Caves of Goa. All of these caves are unique and are famous for their own specialties. During the 'Caves and Beaches' tour, I got the opportunity to visit
the admired caves in India that are located in hinterlands of India.
The caves revealed a lot of secrets to me. These caves are not just a
recluse that early men adopted but they are places that people chose
to live, hunt and to meditate. The paintings and sculptors ingrained
on the walls still speak of the diabolic nature and an evolving
culture in the lives of the early man. I happened to visit the
Bimbetka caves that represents the early man's life and remarkably
distinguishes it with blinding dark interiors, narrow escapes and
unruly carvings. The caves of Ajanta and Ellora surpass all and exudes
eroticism in its carved walls. Honeymooners so love to visit the
Ajanta and Ellora Caves. In Goa, I was awe-stuck to see the marvelous
finishing of the entry to the Arvalem cave. Moreover, the knowledge
that the Pandavas of the Mahabharata once spend their time here,
overwhelmed me! »
