I am Jean Pierre from California, I would like to share my experiences in India after taking a tour with Heritage Journey to the Land of Maharajas. My visit to Rajasthan was amazing! I really felt like a Maharaja in the heritage palace hotel of Udaipur, it was definitely a New World. The fun on the sands at Jaisalmer (together with the Golden Fort experience) was enough to drive me crazy! The tour to Kaithoon Village was also quite exciting, I manage to pick up few Kotadoria embroidered bags and tie and dye textiles. Taj was a wonderful experience, I will rate Taj, first wonder of the world, it deserves so! Delhi, the capital city of India is unique in its all respect. The rickshaw ride in the busy market lanes of Chandni Chowk was indeed a challenge, through men, horses, bullocks, buses, cars, bicycles, stalls it seemed as if whole of California has concentrated in few meters? But it was enjoyable, perhaps because of the skilled ricksha-pullars! I cannot forget the delicious scoop of curd delicacy (Dahi-Wara) at Delhi, it was really terrific. I still regret if I would have asked for another. The crowded markets of India at times were quite irritating but, then it was for this real India I was here. With petite endurance I could fabricate my long awaiting fantasy. The experience in India was awesome! Thank You Shubhyatra... »
