Morning
we start sightseeing of Mumbai. We start with visiting the Gateway of
India. Here we board a boat that takes us to the famous Elephanta caves of
Mumbai. On arrival to the cave, watch out for the intricate carvings that
went into the formation of these caves. Take pictures of the unspeakable
architecture of the caves and then return back to Mumbai on the same boat
that took you to the caves. On arrival, take a break and have your lunch.
After lunch, we take you to Victoria Terminus and followed by it you get
to visit the famous Haji Ali Mosque and temples like Mahalaxmi temple. We
also take you to Kamala Nehru Park and evening is at beaches of Mumbai
like Chowpatty beach and Juhu beach. Beaches of Mumbai are exotic and
becomes lively on evenings with locals opening up small beach-side
markets. Overnight is at the hotel.
This
day is kept for fun and frolic in Goa. Goa is famous for its beaches and
so a sojourn on its beaches would always be a memorable trail. On the
beaches engage in Kayaking, Scuba diving,Yachting, Swimming, Diving,
Windsurfing, Kitesurfing and whenever you become exhausted retire to the
beaches and lie down for a sun-bath. Having some lip-smacking snacks and
then once again go into the seas for experiencing the thrill of Sea
sports. Later in the afternoon retire to the hotel where you are served
with a sumptuous lunch. We then start with sightseeing of Goa. We take you
to Se Cathedral – the largest of the church of Old Goa. We then take
you to Convent and Church of St Francis Assisi. We later drive you to
Terekhol Fort – a beautiful old Portuguese fort. Evening is at the
beaches of Goa when the soft tidal breeze dashes against you and the
darkness of the night calms you down from all tiredness generated from the
day's tour of Goa. Overnight is at the hotel.
Morning
we drive you from Cochin to Alleppey and on arrival have your food at a
restaurant of Alleppey. We then board on the traditional rice boats
locally known as Ketuvallam and sail through the picturesque backwaters
toward Kumarakom. The entire journey brings to light the beautiful scenery
of Kerala. On arrival to Kumarakom, disembark the boat and check-in at a
hotel in Kumarakom. The entire beach is dotted with swaying coconut palms
that leave everyone dumbfounded at its majestic beauty. Overnight is at
the hotel.
Morning
we take you to sightseeing of Kumarakom. We visit the Bird Sanctuary where
a variety of Ariel population makes it an awesome destination. We also
take you for a boat cruise at the distant Vembanad Lake that is dotted
with swaying coconut palms. The scenic environment creates a resplendent
beauty that you would admire for a lifetime. Take pictures of the lake and
its inhabitants. We then board a Houseboat that takes us to the enchanting
backwaters. Once in the backwaters, it is sure that you might get your
heart robbed as the vast expanse of panoramic sight, the low hum of the
motor and the isolation of a luxury houseboat. Then we take you for a
heart warming refreshment at the Ayurveda centre, where you will be
relaxed with some Ayurvedic regimes. After an evening among the aroma of
the herbal plants we move back to the houseboat. Overnight stay is at the
houseboat.
Morning
we drive you to Periyar from Kumarakom. Periyar is nestled amidst spice
and rubber plantations. Periyar serves as a testimony to nature's splendor
and is gifted with incredible wildlife. On arrival to Periyar, check in to
a resort. Take rest for a while as we then take you to the famous Periyar
Wildlife Sanctuary. The sanctuary is one of the most popular destinations
for nature lovers as the forest is blessed with rare habitat of birds and
animals. Periyar thus opens up the opportunity for you to have close views
of birds and other habitat of the jungle. Return back to the resort for
overnight rest.
Morning
we drive you to Madurai from Periyar. As we reach Madurai, check into the
hotel in Madurai. Madurai is famous for its temples. So, as we start with
the sightseeing tours of Madurai, we reach Meenakshi temple – a 2000
years old temple that exhibits a splendid example of Dravidian
architecture. Next we take you to splendid Tirumalai Nayak Mahal following
which we take you to Gandhi Mahal. Watch out for these exquisite Mahals as
they exhibit an architecture that is not to be seen anywhere else. Pick
exquistisely crafted trinkets and sculptors of dieties from shops stalled
outside the temples of Madurai. After the sightseeing, we return back to
the hotel for overnight rest.
Morning
we drive you to Trichy from Madurai. On arrival, check into the hotel in
Trichy. We take you to Kudumianmalai temple dedicated to Lord
Sikhagireeswara that has thousand pillar hall within the temple. Wander
inside the hall and take beautiful pictures with pillars as the backdrop.
We then take you to Rock Fort Temple. Watch out for the famous temples
like Manikka Vinayakar Temple, the Uchhi Pillayar Koyil and the
Taayumaanavar Koyil with the Rock Fort Temple. We then take you to
Viralimalai Sanctuary famous for the spectacular Murugan temple and is
also an enchanting Peacock Sanctuary. Here, you can see a number of wild
peacocks roaming around and if lucky you might even see them dancing. Then
return back to the hotel for overnight rest.
Morning
we drive you to the airport at Trichy. On arrival, board the flight that
takes you to Chennai. On arrival to Chennai, check into the hotel. Take
some rest and then we start with sightseeing of Chennai. We first visit
Fort St. George – the fortified settlement of British Raj in India.
Later, we take you to St. Mary's Church that is regarded as the oldest
Anglican Church in India. We also visit San Thome Cathedral Basilica that
houses the mortal remains of St. Thomas. Evening is at Marina beach where
you get to view a splendid sunset view and simultaneously can engage
yourself in picking handicraft items made from sea-shells sold at the
beach by the locals. As it darkens we take you to lighthouse of Chennai
located at the southern end of Chennai. It beckons the visitors in the
evening and adds glory to the golden sand. Overnight is at the hotel.
Morning
we drive you to Pondicherry from Chennai. On arrival, check into a hotel
and engage in a sumptuous meal that has all the delicacies of Pondicherry.
We then start with the sightseeing tour of Pondicherry. We take you to Sri
Aurobindo Ashram that is famous for its integral Yoga practices. Try out
some feats of Yoga and then we reach out for the 1.5 km long promenade
that runs along the sea beach and is a centre of attraction for tourists.
In the evening, we take you to Pondicherry Museum where you get to explore
all the galleries of the museum. Pondicheery being an erstwhile French
Colony still has a French influence. Even a Rickshaw-Puller would talk to
you in French. So, interact with the locals of Pondicherry in French and
then return back to the hotel for overnight rest.
Morning
we drive you to the airport in Chennai located at a distance of 135 kms
from Pondicherry. On arrival, board the fight that takes you to Agatti.
Once you reach Agatti, it becomes very convenient as you get the
opportunity to avail helicopter services for Kavaratti the capital city of
Lakshadweep. There are also boat cruises available to other islands of the
Lakshadweep. On arrival to Agatti, check into a hotel built on the
beautiful environs of the island. In the hotel, relish fish curries and
other culinary made from sea fish. Evening we take you for a drive to see
the beaches of Lakshadweep. Lakshadweep is an island that is a combination
of beach, lagoons and the sea, all of it together setting the perfect
stage for a wonderful sojourn to a solitude island. Take pictures of the
palm-fringed beaches and the sunburn golden sands as you travel through
the island. Also, meet the tribals of the place who relate you to the
realities and fantasies associated with the island. Return back to the
hotel for overnight stay.
This
day is kept for adventure sports and sightseeing in Lakshadweep. Right
from the morning, engage yourself in activities like snorkeling and scuba
diving at the coral lagoons of Lakshadweep. You are assisted by our
trained guides so as to avoid any mishap. While enjoying the sea sports,
do go for some deep water dives to explore the coral reef beneath the sea
surface. Blessed with 36 beautiful coral islands, Lakshadweep stands as a
pristine place where divers can become rendezvous with the mushy and firm
coral of Lakshadweep islands. It is very fascinating to be underneath the
ocean as the corals grow in different formations and engulf a whole world
