The North India Tour of India is a delightful journey of magnificent Rajasthan, splendid heritage forts and palaces, pilgrimage places of North India and is also a fascinating trail of dangerous forests of India. The tour starts with sightseeing of Delhi, peeps into Amber fort of Jaipur, Fatehpur Sikri of Agra and takes into the gardens of Taj Mahal. This trail of India is also filled with excitements that range from visiting Panna National Park, boat cruise at Ganga in Varanasi and involvement in shopping at every destination.
Day 1 - Delhi
Highlights:
You'll be taken to the hotel from International airport at night by our representative. Enjoy the night life in hotel, cool yourself and have some Indian food at some good restaurant.
Day 2 - Delhi

Jama Masjid,DelhiAfter having breakfast, prepare yourself for the morning sightseeing. You'll be first guided to historical monuments. First, stop at Kutub Minar, which is must see for any tourist, apart from that you 'll have options to see nearby historical monuments and 'Indian Handicraft Emporium'. After finishing Kutub lets have some fun at Red Fort,which is Delhi's signature attraction. You'll be amazed to see the gigantic structure of the fort. Interior decoration of fort will surely mesmerize you and compel you to ponder over the grandiosity of mogul emperor. When you'll be in a freezing state and thinking over the magnanimous structure, our representative will take you to the Jama Masjid, biggest white sand stoned mosque of India, that has a capacity to hold 25,000 worshipers at a time.After visiting three most sought after tourist spot, you'll be guided for some shopping in Chandni Chowk, which is renowned for its distinctive ambiance and flavor. There you'll find different types of jewelery, saris, satin, zari. If you wish to feel the essence of Old Delhi then it would be prudent to take a cycle rickshaw ride around Chandni Chowk. Come back to hotel after a stern day, cool off and enjoy your dinner. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 3 - Delhi

Red Fort,DelhiAfter having your morning breakfast, lets go to Lotus Temple, Which has a shape of lotus and a hall for meditation where irrespective of caste, creed and religion people meditate. From there, lets visit another newly built Akshardham Temple, which has a huge structure and you can have 12-minute fascinating boat-ride experience of 10,000 years of India's glorious heritage. Learn about the discoveries and inventions of the rishi-scientists of India, see the world’s first university of Takshashila and sail through the caves of Ajanta-Ellora. From there lets again go for some market place where you can begin your shopping spree. Connaught place is one of the most sought after shopping destination for tourists. You will find lots of silver and artificial jewelery studded with semi-precious stones in the small Tibetan shops that abound here. You'll also find shawls, exquisite saris, Madhubani painting and gems. After some shopping you can go for some lunch at nearby restaurant, Connaught place is famous for its diverse restaurant chain where you'll find all type of food, from Indian to Continental.In the evening you'll be shown the ambiance of India Gate where you'll find numerous people are hanging around, stay for a while and come back to Red Fort to enjoy the light and sound show. Delhi is well provided with innovative theaters and the area just to north of India Gate is home to a number of these. Enjoy some time at any of these theater and come back to your hotel at night. Have a sound sleep as on the next day you'll be taken to Jaipur.
Day 4 - Delhi - Jaipur

Hawa Mahal Jaipur IndiaAfter breakfast leave for Jaipur by car. On arrival, our representative will transfer you to a hotel. From there you'll be guided to Amber Fort on well dressed elephant. This is something you cannot afford to miss in your Rajasthan itinerary. The main attraction of Rajasthan is the royal palaces. Visit city palace centrally located in Jaipur, a museum is there at the first floor where you'll see fine muslin, embroidered coats from North India and hand printed cottons. The textile and costume museum in Mubarak Mahal has some of the finest Indian fabrics and costumes and as well as musical instruments and toys from the royal playroom. From there we'll take you to Hawal Mahal, arguably best monument of Jaipur.

Evening time will be reserved for some shopping, Rajasthan is shoppers paradise. At Jauhiri Bazaar you'll find diverse jeweleries, dye saris. You can also browse in Bapu Bazaar and Nehru Bazaar for different leather items. Its famous for shoes made of camel's skin. After quenching your thirst for shopping come back to hotel lobby, enjoy some delicious Rajasthani cuisines. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 5 - Jaipur

Jal Mahal Jaipur IndiaMorning Sightseeing comprise of mystic Jantar Mantar, fascinating Jal Mahal and Indo-Saracenic architectural beauty Albert hall. Garden of Paradise in the Albert Hall is one of the mentionable location. It has come alive with fish, birds, animals and trees. The museum also have some melancholic specimen of horse skeleton, human skeleton and stuffed cobra.

To feel the beauty of desert on the back of camel is always on the cards. A camel ride is something you'll remember it for life. You can explore the rural Jaipur on camel and feel an imperial persona. Two villages, Sanganer and Bagru are famous for the delicate art on floral sprigs. On the roadside you'll see local folk artists performing. In the evening, relish on some famous Jaipur cuisines like Dal- Churma, made of butter, cereals and sweetened bread pudding. Day 6 - Jaipur - Fatehpur Sikri - Agra

Buland Darwaza Fatehpur SikriArrival at Fatehpur Sikri by car from Jaipur. Building in Fatehpur Sikri are a unique blend of architectural traditions. You'll be guided to different small palaces, Diwan-I-Aam (hall of public audience) and Diwan-I-Khas(hall of private audience) both are notable places to visit. From palaces you'll be taken to Majestic Buland Darwaza. From there visit the Tomb of Shaikh Salim Chisti, the carved marble lattice screens are simply remarkable. Within the courtyard there is an another tomb of Islam Khan, the Saint's Garden. Finish you trip of Fatehpur Sikri and start for Agra by car. Overnight at Agra.
Day 7 - Agra

Taj Mahal Agra IndiaAfter having breakfast you'll be guided to majestic Taj Mahal renowned for its spectacular architecture and aesthetic beauty. Taj Mahal always have an aura to charm visitors across the world. You can enjoy the nature walk around Taj or if you wish you can have Tonga ride(Chariot ride). Agra is the shopping hub of tourists, but keep one thing in mind that you've to bargain hard. Agra has number of shopping market and malls that offers beautiful handicraft items. The favorite marketing item is marble replica of Taj Mahal, matching of every detail. Also, Agra is famous for leather items, colorful designed embroidered rugs and exquisite brass ware.

Agra is not only famous for Taj Mahal but also for imperial Red Fort, so after your shopping fling visit the Red Fort. From Red Fort we'll take you to exotic Rambagh Gardens in Agra where you can relax for a while. Scrumptious Agra food is hard to resist. Day 8 - Agra - Orchha - Khajuraho

Jehengir Mahal OrchhaMorning departure from Agra by train to Jhansi. On reaching Jhansi leave for Khajuraho by car, stop at Orchha for sightseeing. Orchha posses a baronial Fort, which contains number of palaces and other historic buildings. Orchha is famous for three palaces, Jehengir Mahal, Raj Mahal, Rai Praveen Mahal. We'll guide you to these places, enjoy the majestic beauty. Also there are distinctive temples known as Laksmi Narayan temple and Chaturbhuj temple. These are built on massive stone platform and reached by a steep flight of steps. Orchha is not particularly famous for shopping but you'll find beautiful Dokra metal crafts and artifacts made of wrought iron. Do not mind to little bit of bargaining while shopping in Orchha. After completing Orchha we'll take you to Khajuraho. Overnight stay in Khajuraho.
Day 9 - Khajuraho Sightseeing

Sculptures in Khajuraho IndiaAfter having breakfast, morning sightseeing comprise of world famous temples of Khajuraho. We'll witness some fascinating sculptures and images oozes passion, eroticism,dance, music and other delicacy of creative arts portrayed on the temple. We'll take you to Rajgarh palace, Ajaygarh Fort, Kalinjar Fort, which are 25,80 and 100 km far away respectively. Other exotic location that can't be missed is Panna National Park. The region is rich in wildlife, flaura and fauna.

Shopping in Khajuraho is one of the most pleasant experiences, its famous for handicrafts and hand looms, you can browse at different shops where you'll find different type of saris, textile and other handicraft items. Miniature stone carved erotic sculptures are the hot favorite among tourists. These would be the best memento! In the evening we'll take you to Ranah and Pandav waterfalls to see light and sound show. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 10 - Khajuraho - Varanasi

Varanasi, Ganga RiverTake a flight to Varanasi, there our representative will meet you and move you to a hotel. Evening at your leisure, you'll always have options to take a view to Ganga ghats to watch aarti and sunset. These two things always allures many visitors. In the evening you'll have a different experience of sadhus, diverse cultural people, crowded market place and unparalleled olfactory sensation that you would have never experienced in any visiting place. Enjoy the local chat shops and famous pehra (sweet made of pumpkin and sugar). Varanasi's various restaurants serves variety of foods Indian, Continental, Chinese and of course Mughlai. Day 11 - Varanasi Sightseeing

Sarnath Temple VaranasiAfter your morning breakfast, prepare yourself for exploration around temples and ghats. There are number of Ghats with an endless chain of stone steps - progressing along the waterfronts, altering in appearance with the dramatic fluctuations of the river level. There are numerous Ghats in Varanasi where you can watch variety of pilgrims and local people, its an absolute time pass for any visitor. Varanasi is famous for Kashi Viswanath Temple, which is main attraction among tourists and pilgrims. From there we'll take you to Sarnath Temple approximately 45 kms away from Varanasi town. There you'll visit to Chunar Fort and wildlife sanctuaries.

In the evening, return back to town, have some shopping spree at places like Gyanvapi, Thatheri Bazaar, Lahurabir, Golghar. Varanasi is famous for its famous saris, also Banaras Brocades are prized the world over. Brass ware, copper ware, gold jewelery, clay toys and some other crafts the city is famous for. Viswanath Gali with its temple bazaar is famous for silk brocade and jewelery. You'll witness number of hustlers and rickshaw drivers keep dragging visitors into shops. The cryptic narrow lanes and by lanes will make you flummoxed. After a hectic day return back to hotel, cool yourself, overnight stay at hotel.
Day 12 - Varanasi-Delhi
Highlights:
Take a flight from Varanasi to Delhi. Arrive at International airport, our representative will receive you there and take you to hotel. The entire day at your leisure, if you wish to explore more in Delhi we'll arrange a short trip for you. Lunch at any luxuriant restaurant and we'll arrange a farewell dinner in the evening with traditional North Indian cuisines.
