Last month, Jim told me that we might have to visit India for a week
or two. That night I saw Khajuraho and Hawa Mahal in my dreams. To my
surprise, Shubhyatras North India Tour had both of them. The
beautiful 953 tiny windows on the face of Hawa Mahal was quite
impressive and indeed helped me with lots of fresh air of Jaipur. Agra
was equally amazing! The monument of love looks high-class
by moonlight. The narration of our guide was engaging and informative,
and the Mahals history really came alive with Georges
audio tour. Ive never been big on audio tours, but this was
first-rate. Then there came Varanasi with it Ganga Ghats to take bath
in. The Chunar Fort and Wildlife Sanctuaries of India are treasure
troves and it is really hard to find such marvelous preservations on
Earth. At the point of my journey in Varanasi, I was feeling pretty
gross. I contracted a nasty sinus infection somewhere along the way,
maybe because of the dust. But our next visit to the erotic temples of
Khajuraho was an altogether different experience. A pearl in the
forests of Madha Pradesh! Despite of the sand and dust and crowd, I
liked India and of-course the North India Tour because of its time
management. »
