It was a pleasure to be with Shubhyatra for the Glorious Golden
Triangle Tours. This package covers two triangles of India, viz, the
Northern and Eastern triangles, that gives it a totally different
hype. The old city of Shahjanabad (Chandni Chowk) resembles the old
quarters of Karachi, a lot. But the food surely took us to the Mughal
times. My first experience of the Taj Mahal was amazing! I also bought
a miniature replica of the Taj for Farheen (my wife). I had a keen
desire to visit The Sun Temple at Konark as I have heard lot of tales
from my father who actually belonged to India and had often visited
the temple with his parents. Our guide, Santosh, told us that when
this huge chariot-like temple was built, it didnt cast a shadow!
I also liked the Bhubaneswar State Museum, which is a three-storeyed
building stuffed with ancient and rural Orrisa. Being in the beach of
Puri was very refreshing and rejuvenated my spirit. It would be unfair
not to include the services rendered by Shubhyatra and the guides, who
were always there to help us. In a nutshell, I was overwhelmed to
simultaneously visiting two of the famous triangles of India in one
go. »
