oak forests, from Pauli one can enjoy the panoramic views of Himalayas. It
is the confluence of the three peaks of Nanda Devi (7817 M), Kamet (7756
M) and Dunagiri (7066 M), that adds mystic to this destination.

near Gangotri, Munsyari near Pittorgarh and Mundali near Dehradun.
Take up Skiing tours of Auli that is an hyper active destination. Apart from skiing, there is another highlight of Pauli – Cable Car Ride. It is a 4 km long rope way, that was built in the year 1994. Connecting Joshimath and Pauli, one has to take up this ride to come down the ski slopes of Pauli. This is a one way trolley that has 10 towers and two cabins that accommodate 25 people each. Pauli is all about winter sports, so besides Skiing one can also indulge in sledging and snow boarding. And all those who do not want to enjoy the adventure can enjoy the breath taking views of the various mountain peaks. Various international Skiing festivals are also held in Auli.

However, one needs to carry heavy woollen cloths like caps, socks, gloves, mufflers, pullovers, trousers, wind proof jackets, dark glasses, gum/snow boots and a torch for personal use. First Aid kit should also be handy. For all those who are not experts at skiing can also learn this sport, as the tourism board has provisions of skiing classes.
